Founded by a man who knew thirst
Before Hahn Sparkling, there was a season I don't hide from. For sixteen months I was homeless and on the run — chasing what people in recovery call a "geographical cure": a one-way ticket all the way to Guadalajara, Mexico, believing a new place could fix an old ache. It couldn't. Geography never heals what only God can.
But by His grace, I made it home. I drank the water most people are warned about, and I was kept — protected, when so many are not. That is not a boast; it is a testimony. I know what it is to thirst — for water, for hope, for a way back. And I know Who answered.
I've drunk water most people would never touch. In a jail cell, it comes out of a steel toilet-and-sink combo — you learn fast what real thirst is. In Guadalajara, the tap could make you sick, so every morning I paid for clean water to be delivered, and paid again just for propane to heat a shower. In time I moved from the crowded heart of the city out to a quieter neighborhood on the edge — fifteen miles out by bus, where it finally felt safe to breathe. Through all of it, one truth soaked in: clean water is not a given. It is a gift — and millions never get it.
So Hahn Sparkling was never only about premium water. It is about the living water that carried me home — and making sure the next person who thirsts is met with a hand, not a turned back.
